What characterized Canada's growth in the early 20th century?

From the late 19th century to the beginnings of the Great Depression, Canada's economy
underwent a period of strong economic growth. The growth was characterized by two

  • the construction of the Canadian Northern Railway.
  • the industrialization of Ontario and Quebec. 
  • the development of the mining, logging and farming industries.
