C)     The Treaty of Paris
 

•    France ceded Canada and its surrounding territories to Britain.
•    France kept the Saint Pierre and Miquelon Islands for fishing.
•    The Canadiens were granted the right to practise their Catholic religion "as far as the laws of Great   Britain permit"
